About
Monster.com is a global employment website and job search engine that lets job seekers search and apply for openings and lets employers post jobs and search resumes. It launched as The Monster Board in 1994, with Monster.com established in 1999, and was owned by Randstad from 2016. In 2025 its parent CareerBuilder + Monster filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, and BOLD acquired the Monster and CareerBuilder job-board assets and brands, completing the deal in August 2025.
