HR technology, every morning — wired to the companies and people behind it.

AI's role in hiring dominates today's news, as Black job seekers seek class-action status against Workday's AI hiring tools amid growing scrutiny of algorithmic bias and employer disclosure risks. Communication gaps persist on the workforce side, with a majority of employees reporting that leaders have not clearly explained how AI aligns with company goals, while separate research suggests workers are willing to accept lower pay in exchange for AI training opportunities. Gartner adds that organizations must redesign work in real time to keep pace with the AI era, as new platforms from Velric, Octopyd, Hireclix, and Textio enter a rapidly evolving HR-tech market.
