Maki (Maki People) is a Paris-based HR-tech company that builds AI agents to automate hiring, including candidate sourcing, skills screening, assessment and interviews across text, voice and video, with a library of short skills tests and integrations to applicant tracking systems. It was founded in 2021 by Maxime Legardez, Paul-Louis Caylar and Benjamin Chino. In January 2025 the company raised about $28.6 million (roughly EUR27.8 million) in a Series A round led by Blossom Capital, with participation from DST Global.
