Checkr has partnered with Workday to automate income and employment verification, the companies announced from San Francisco on September 24, 2026. The integration lets employers using Workday share verified employment and income information through Checkr's platform, so employees can instantly verify where they work and what they earn — when applying for jobs, loans, apartments or government benefits — without manual document submission.
Today that verification typically requires HR teams to field and answer requests one by one. Under the partnership, eligible Workday customers can opt in to make verified employment and income data available through Checkr, automating the process. It launches as part of Workday Total Benefits in late October.
"Proving where they work and what they earn shouldn't be the step that slows them down," said Daniel Yanisse, co-founder and CEO of Checkr. "Employers shouldn't have to spend time tracking down information that's already part of their systems," said Nancy Weitl, vice president of HCM product management at Workday.
Checkr is an AI-powered verification platform used by more than 140,000 customers globally for employment, insurance, mortgage and tenant verifications; Workday provides HCM and financial management software.

Income and employment verification is a quietly large, friction-heavy corner of HR ops — every loan, lease or new job triggers a manual verification request HR must chase down. Wiring verified Workday data straight into Checkr's network automates that, and it's the second such Workday verification tie-up in the same week (Experian also integrated its Verify network) — a sign the big HCM platforms are turning their system-of-record data into a verification utility. For HR buyers it means less manual verification work; for the verification players it's a race to sit on top of the HCM systems where the data already lives.
