SAN JOSE, Calif. & ATLANTA--
Allvia, a workforce services platform backed by Trinity Hunt Partners, today announced its acquisition of Smith Communication Partners (“Smith”), a consulting firm specializing in workforce strategy and employee communications. Building on its partnerships with Melita Group and HR Pals, Allvia’s addition of Smith expands its capabilities, helping employers design, administer, and communicate the programs their employees depend on.
Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Atlanta, Georgia, Smith has spent more than two decades helping employers navigate some of their most consequential workforce decisions. Smith collaborates with employers to translate HR, benefits, compensation, and workforce initiatives in ways employees can understand and act on. Smith’s offerings include employee benefits, total rewards, organizational change, compliance communications, and employee engagement strategies. Trey Wood, President and Managing Partner, will continue to lead the business alongside his full leadership team.
“Smith has spent more than twenty years helping employers communicate complex workforce initiatives with clarity and trust,” said Fred Pettijohn, CEO of Allvia. “Trey and his team work where programs meet people, and that expertise is exactly what we were looking for as we build Allvia into a platform that supports employers across the full employee lifecycle."
The addition of Smith strengthens Allvia’s ability to help employers design, administer, and communicate the programs that drive employee engagement and business performance.
“Smith has long been the firm employers call when the stakes are high and the work is complex,” said Trey Wood, President and Managing Partner of Smith. “Joining Allvia gives us the resources and platform to extend that work further, while preserving the culture and client relationships that have defined us from the start.”
Allvia is actively seeking opportunities to expand the platform through partnerships with like-minded companies across the United States. For more information, visit
