Lightcast is a global leader in labor market intelligence, providing data on jobs, skills and workforce trends to employers, educators and governments. Formed in 2021 from the merger of Emsi and Burning Glass Technologies and rebranded Lightcast in 2022, it delivers skills taxonomies, real-time labor market data, talent analytics and workforce planning tools across 30+ countries. In October 2025 it acquired UK workforce-analytics consultancy Simply, extending its lead in skills intelligence.
