10 HR Conferences Still Worth Attending in 2026
Autumn is the busiest stretch of the HR conference calendar. From Gartner's CHRO gatherings in London and Orlando to HR Tech, UNLEASH Paris and the CIPD in Manchester, these are the ten events still ahead in 2026 — with dates, venues and who each one is for.
The HR conference calendar saves its biggest weeks for the autumn. Between early October and mid-November, the industry's analyst firms, professional bodies and HR-tech shows all run their flagship events — and they overlap. If you still have budget or a travel slot left for 2026, this is the shortlist.
Every date and venue below has been checked against the organizer's own website. They are listed in date order, not ranked; the notes under each tell you who gets the most out of it.
1. Gartner HR Symposium/Xpo — London
October 6–8, 2026 · London, UK
Gartner bills its HR Symposium as "the world's most important gathering of CHROs and HR executives." The 2026 agenda is built around three priorities: the new human-AI workforce, foundations for performance, and navigating shifting skills requirements. Expect analyst-led research sessions rather than vendor pitches. Best for: CHROs and HR leadership teams in Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
2. Workday Rising
October 12–15, 2026 · The Venetian Resort & Caesars Forum, Las Vegas (and online)
Workday's flagship customer conference promises four days of customer stories, live product labs and a first look at the company's agentic-AI roadmap. It is a vendor event, but with Workday's footprint in enterprise HCM it is also one of the clearest signals of where large-company HR systems are heading. Best for: Workday customers and enterprise HR and IT teams evaluating HCM platforms.
3. HR Summit & Expo (HRSE) — Dubai
October 14–15, 2026 · Hall 6, Dubai World Trade Centre
HRSE calls itself "the region's largest HR festival." Certified workshops run October 11–13 at the Conrad Hotel, followed by the main conference and exhibition on October 14–15 and the Future Workplace Awards on the evening of October 14. Best for: HR leaders in the Middle East and vendors active in the Gulf region.
4. HR Tech 2026
October 20–22, 2026 · Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas
The HR Technology Conference & Exposition is the defining event of the HR-tech year, where hundreds of vendors meet buyers and many product launches land. This year's program includes a newly added keynote from Anthropic — "Direct from Anthropic: What's Next for Hiring" — on how AI could reshape talent decisions. Best for: HR-tech buyers, HRIS and people-analytics teams, and anyone running a system selection.
5. UNLEASH 2026 — Paris
October 20–22, 2026 · Paris Convention Centre
UNLEASH's European flagship — "where the HR world meets" — runs the same three days as HR Tech, so most teams will have to choose. Paris pairs a strategy-heavy keynote program with a large HR-tech expo, and is the better pick for European buyers and for vendors focused on the EU market. Best for: HR leaders and HR-tech buyers based in Europe.
6. Gartner HR Symposium/Xpo — Orlando
October 26–28, 2026 · Orlando, FL
The North American edition of Gartner's HR Symposium shares London's agenda — the human-AI workforce, performance and skills — and its CHRO-level audience. If you missed London, this is your second chance in 2026. Best for: CHROs and senior HR executives in North America.
7. CIPD Annual Conference and Exhibition
November 4–5, 2026 · Manchester Central, Manchester, UK
The CIPD's flagship annual event brings the UK people profession together for two days of research-led content and a supplier exhibition. Alongside the CIPD Festival of Work in June, it is one of the two big CIPD events of the year. Best for: UK HR and L&D professionals.
8. DevLearn 2026
November 4–6, 2026 · MGM Grand, Las Vegas
DevLearn describes itself as North America's largest learning-technologies event. Pre-conference learning runs November 1–3, followed by the main conference and expo. With AI now reshaping how training is built and delivered, it is the most concentrated place to see learning tech side by side. Best for: L&D teams, instructional designers and learning-tech buyers.
9. ERE Recruiting Innovation Summit
November 10–11, 2026 · Hyatt Regency La Jolla at Aventine, San Diego
ERE's summit is where recruiting leaders compare notes on sourcing, recruiting operations and — increasingly — how AI is changing hiring on both sides of the funnel. It is smaller and more practitioner-focused than the big expos. Best for: TA leaders and recruiting-operations teams.
10. SHRM Blueprint for I&D
November 15–18, 2026 · Gaylord Opryland Resort, Nashville
SHRM's November conference — "Blueprint for I&D: The Future of Strategic Transformation" — is built around three learning paths and practitioner-led sessions on inclusion strategy, from disability accommodations and neurodiversity to gender advancement and AI accessibility. Best for: I&D, culture and HR leaders responsible for inclusion strategy.

Planning notes
October 20–22 is a straight clash. HR Tech (Las Vegas) and UNLEASH (Paris) run on the same three days. Choose by geography and buying focus: Las Vegas for the widest view of the U.S. HR-tech market, Paris for European buyers.
Las Vegas runs back-to-back. SAP Success Connect, Workday Rising, HR Tech, Oracle AI World and Dayforce Discover all land in Las Vegas between October 5 and October 29 — useful if you can combine a platform event with HR Tech in a single trip.
Some events are already closed. McLean & Company's Signature conference (October 4–6, Las Vegas) shows registration as closed, so check availability before you plan around any event on this list.
