DOL finalizes sweeping pharmacy benefit manager disclosure rule
The Department of Labor has finalized a rule requiring pharmacy benefit managers to disclose a broad range of fee and compensation data to self-funded employer clients, starting in 2027. For HR and benefits teams running self-funded plans, the rule adds transparency into PBM pricing that was previously hard to see.
