Slack is Salesforce's AI-powered platform for work, bringing conversations, applications, organizational knowledge, workflows, and customers into one collaboration environment. The product emerged in 2013 from the team behind Tiny Speck and was created by Stewart Butterfield, Cal Henderson, Eric Costello, and Serguei Mourachov. Salesforce completed its acquisition of Slack in July 2021. Slack reports more than 200,000 paid customers and daily active users in more than 150 countries.
