Kent Plunkett

Kent Plunkett co-founded Salary.com in 1999 and served as CEO, building it through a 2007 IPO, acquisitions by Kenexa and IBM, and a 2015 management buyout. In December 2025 Salary.com announced a leadership transition in which Plunkett moved to Board Director and co-founder Yong Zhang became Chairman & CEO. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School.
