Workday made its Trusted Agent Platform headless, letting customers build and run their own AI agents on HR and finance data with the tools and models they choose, under Workday's permissions, approvals and audit trails. Agent-Ready Tools (Workday's MCP tools), Custom Agents, Developer Agent, Workday Data Cloud and the new Agent Harness are generally available; Agent Context Service and Grounded Reasoning follow in early access in late 2026 and early 2027.
