Dynamic Shift Assignment based on Actual Clock-In Clock-Out – 2H 2026

SAP SuccessFactors Time Tracking will introduce Dynamic Shift Assignment in its 2H 2026 release, automatically determining which shift an employee worked based on actual clock-in/clock-out data — eliminating the need for advance shift planning, according to the SAP Community HCM blog. The feature, configurable via SuccessFactors Business Rules, also automates downstream shift-premium calculations and targets blue-collar industries including manufacturing, logistics, and healthcare.
