Lever, Inc. is a recruiting software company founded in 2012 that develops an applicant tracking system (ATS) and candidate relationship management platform used by employers to source, track, and hire candidates. It was co-founded by Nate Smith and Sarah Nahm, among others, and raised roughly $82 million across seed through Series D rounds from investors including Matrix Partners, Scale Venture Partners, and the Apax Digital Fund. In August 2022 Lever was acquired by Employ Inc., which also owns the Jobvite and JazzHR recruiting platforms.
