## Overview
7shifts is a restaurant workforce-management platform founded in 2014 by Jordan Boesch after he built an early scheduling tool for his father's restaurants. The current platform connects hiring and onboarding, training, scheduling, time clocking, team communication, tasks, labor compliance, tip management, payroll, analytics, and retention across the restaurant employee lifecycle. More than 55,000 restaurants and 1.5 million workers across North America use 7shifts, from single-location operators to multi-location groups. The company lists Saskatoon as its headquarters, a 201–500 employee band, and offices in Saskatoon and Toronto. Official announcements disclose $10 million in Series A, $21.5 million in Series B, and $80 million in Series C financing. Workforce Management remains primary because the product coordinates the full restaurant employee lifecycle; Payroll is added as a supported secondary category.
